Tea Time im Wasserschloss
We step inside the historic moated castle in the Speicherstadt and allow ourselves to be enchanted by the fascinating world of tea. Where winch operators and guards once went about their work, a tea house and gourmet dining now combine to create an extraordinary experience.
At our British tea time, we’ll be greeted by a stylishly laid table, a pot of freshly brewed tea and a delicious selection of classic specialities.
Let’s look forward to a selection of classic British delicacies to accompany our tea: delicate sandwiches with gherkin and cream cheese, smoked salmon and roast beef, oven-warm scones with clotted cream, and homemade orange and strawberry jam. To round off the occasion, we’ll be treated to exquisite petit fours, tea biscuits and delicate fruit tartlets.
Naturally, we’ll be chatting in English, in true British style. If you think your English isn’t good enough to take part in this event, don’t worry. None of us are perfect, and we don’t expect you to be either. On the contrary, we’ll have lots of fun learning from one another, and you’re bound to pick up a few new words along the way.
